The school has a rich resource in the nature and diversity of its pupils. However the suitability of the school for each pupil is through interview, to ensure that SMECK meet their needs. All pupils from 2 years old upwards to 13 spend time on in-and outdoor academic and physical education , leisure, and co-curricular activities.
The school conducts swimming lessons for all its pupils.
The school is also able to provide special lessons to pupils with mild learning difficulties.

We ensure that pupils of SMECK have a degree of fluency in English speaking and writing skills at all levels. Pupils have to demonstrate their suitability for the next level, through conducting examinations and interviews for continuing and new pupils respectively.
